Our app uses multiple data sources including Open Food Facts and our proprietary database of over 400,000 products. We employ advanced ingredient analysis to provide highly accurate vegan classifications. In addition, users can now update ingredients lists in real time by taking a picture, to ensure that your product always contains the most current information.
When a product isn't in our database, the app will prompt you to take a photo of the label. Our app will analyze the photo and automatically add the product and ingredient information to our database.
Yes! The app caches previously scanned products for offline use. While you'll need an internet connection for new product lookups, your scan history and previously viewed products will always be available offline.
The app is free to download and use. For unlimited product scans and searches, there are premium options available through in-app purchase as low as $1.99.
